It there any kind of protection for tires against road hazards (nails, glass)?

i have a civic 2008 n work in construction ... although i work inside doing drywall repairs sometimes i have to park on bad roads so i just got my front tire punctuared by a nail .... and i hated it cause the car is new n i had to pay 25 bucks to get it fixed the tire ..... so is there any kind of protecction to put in side the tire to avoid getting the nails from going in or at least deflating ?It there any kind of protection for tires against road hazards (nails, glass)?
There are things out there but they don't hold up over the long run. There are self sealing tires for the smaller holes that reportedly will heal after you pull the nail out.It there any kind of protection for tires against road hazards (nails, glass)?
when its time for new tires, look into puncture resistant tires such as uniroyal royal seal- they have a layer of uncured rubber inside and are guaranteed to resist punctures. as for your old tires, you can put liquid puncture seal in them, but it doesnt last very long.
