You do not really have to go to the vet. You could go to Petco or a place like that. Petco costs $10 Or, ya can even do it yourself. You can buy the clippers at Target or Wal-Mart. Its REALLY easy to do, just do NOT cut them back too far. I cut my cats claws all the time now. I did NOT realize how easy it was and the clippers only cost $5. Saved money and time in the long run.
if youve got a pet goods store near you give them a call,i think they trim a cats nails free of charge,i once asked them how much they took for a guinea pig and they said no charge,so i assume they wont charge you for a kitten,call them to make sure.
You can do it yourself with human nail clippers. I do that with my dogs and guinea pigs
Probably not a lot but u should just go out to Petco or something and get some nail clippers for yourself. You will save a lot of money$.

really... I wouldn't waste any time and money going to the vet... just take a 'human' nail clippers and cut them right off... but be VERY careful not to go to far down the nail.
So easy to do yourself! Start them young and make it a pleasant experience that involves lots of affection, praise and treats. Get your kitten used to you touching his or her paws as much as you can before you try it. If he or she doesnt seem to mind then you can probably just go ahead and try it out.





Buy a pair of cat nail clippers at a pet supply store. Do not use human clippers as they will cause cats nails to split and break and this is painful to them.





Just do a couple at a time at first and then if you can get more later, do more. Keep the clippers handy in a spot where you and your cat often snuggle up together. Wait until he or she is relaxed or sleepy before you make your move. Cut below the area where you can see the pink inside the nail. You don't want to cut there because that is where the nerve endings are. To start out with just take off the little hook ends of the nail which is the sharpest part. Get a little more later if you need to.





This will save you a lot of money in the end because the nails will need to be trimmed approximately every two weeks.
That all depends. I do it myself and if I do it for others I only charge $2.


The best thing is to call teh different vets and maybe some groomers in your area.
I don't go to the vet to get Sophie's nails clipped. We go to Petco,charged $8.00 and I give a $2 tip.
Just take her to a groomer if you dont want to do it yourself, They will probably be cheaper than the vet.
I'm not sure how much it cost....You can also buy special pet clippers...and clip her/his nails yourself. You don't clip the pink part...ONLY white....I wouldn't get to close cause you can make them bleed if you get the pink...Its not that hard...You can also put the nail covers over there nails...They stay on for a month or less.....We had to do that with out cat so she wouldn't get the furniture

my vet charges 10$ to trim nails on my cat, most others that i have called charge about the same , just call up some of your local vets and ask
Do it yourself. I use a human nail clippers. Press on the pads of their feet to bring out the nail. clip ONLY until the nail curves. If you go to far you will hit a vein and make them bleed. Start slow until you get the hang of it.Your cat may not like it at first.......
Depends where you live, prices vary pretty drastically! We charge 拢11.33, but if you live in America that probably has no relevance. Phone around vets in your area and ask them!

At our vet's office, it only costs $5. You can get a nail trimmer from any pet store if you feel comfortable trimming them yourself, just be sure to get the kind that has a shield to prevent you from cutting too far. If you do cut them yourself and trim too far, pack it with baking soda to stop the bleeding. If it doesn't taper off after an hour or so, take them to the vet. Pet stores also sell these ';covers'; for cat nails, which I think is really strange, but it could be an alternative that you like. They are basically little plastic slip covers that you slip on over your cats nails that prevents them from scratching your furniture or you. I don't know how well these work, but they seem to be an alternative to declawing...good luck!
