About how much should it cost to have my quaker's nails and beak trimmed?

And where should I go to get it done?About how much should it cost to have my quaker's nails and beak trimmed?
you should never have to have a parrot's beak or nails trimmed. You need to have plenty of conditioning perches in the birds cage to take care of this. Also poor nutrition contributes to an overgrown beak.

Are you buying your seed at walmart or Petsmart? Switch to a higher quality seed like Higgins Nederlands. It is by far one of the best seeds on the market.

I would suggest adding a Lava rock perch to your cage. It will do wonders. About how much should it cost to have my quaker's nails and beak trimmed?
a local rescue, breeder, or pet store will do them for you should not cost but 10 to 15.00

You should not unless your bird was born with a deformed beak need to trim the beak

Give him bird safe wood toys to chew on i go to organic farms local and get branches and make all my perches and toys Also you do Not need special pedicure perches if you just use natural woods of many different widths some that just fit and some that need the foot open on the perch This helps keep the nails filed

as well as exercises the legs and feet.

If you email through my profile with where you are I would be happy to tell you someone in your area. many breeders would do it free
any pet store or vets off. but you dont need to get the beak done!!!! that is going to be a really bad idea make sure your feeding him good food i feed my quaker zupreem a mid price very good food!!! my quakers full grown and his beak is fine now his nails i have different type branches that take care of that for me!!! but his wings grow back fast

good luck
between 12 and 15 at my vet...the cement type perches don't trim nothing they just make the beak and nails weaker in scratching or biting meaning it don't hurt as much but u should have it done by a vet.
